Mr. Barlow is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kevin Lewis (Keebo) Barlow and a grandson Jonathon Adam Barlow. Services will be at a later date at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, Miss. George Calhoun, 64 of Moss Point died August 1, 2007. Jerselean Johnson, 80, of Moss Point, Miss. died August 1, 2007. Visitation service will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at 9 to 11 a.m. at the Moffettville Baptist Church in Wilmer, Ala. Interment will be in Moffettville Cemetery. Cook, 80, of Orange Grove, Miss., died August 2, 2007, in Pasca- goula, Miss. Mr. Cook was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He was born in Arley, Ala., and a member of Midway Methodist Church in Orange Grove, Miss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will Samuel and Alma Lane Cook of Arley. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Hollis Cook and Rev. M.L. Mc-Cormick officiating. Burial will follow in Orange Grove cemetery in Orange Grove. "Ginny" was born on January 1, 1943, in Flomaton, Ala. Mrs.Ward was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Ruth Weaver; her husband, Gerald Ward; and a sister, Edna Carroll. Aug 4 Mrs. Floreda Ann Stork Wescovich (67) died Saturday, August 4, 2007, at her home in Lucedale. She was born June 12, 1940, in Bayou La Batre, Ala. Mrs. Wescovich attended Eastside Assembly of God Church in Moss Point. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Hugh L. Stork and by her mother, Mrs. Lillian Bosarge Stork and a nephew, Danny Stork. Interment will follow in Orange Grove Cemetery. Aug 5 Gene Raymond Ellington, 67, of Escatawpa, Miss., passed away Aug. 5, 2007, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Ellington was born on Aug. 10, 1939, in Thomastown, Miss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bertha Ellington; sisters, Christine Ahrens, Betty Manuel and Mae Catherine Tuner, and a brother, John W. Ellington. Thibodeaux, retired tugboat captain for Colle Towing, passed away in his home on Aug. 8, 2007. He had resided in Slidell, La., for the past 15 years. Aug 9 Commander Sam A. Ferguson, USN (Ret.), age 86, died August 9, 2007 a native of Des Arc, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, two brothers, and two sisters. Internment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Aug 10 Mr. Ivey Edward Atwell Jr., 73, of Moss Point, passed away peacefully on Aug. 10, 2007, at his home. Pennie Ruth Bowie Chew, 43, of Asheville, N.C., formerly of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Aug. 10, 2007. Don Johnson, 81, Gautier, Miss., died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, in Gautier. He was born Feb. 7, 1926, in Brinkley, Ark. John Wayne Maddox, born on Oct. 14, 1949, in Pensacola, Fla., to Winford Rody Maddox and Mary Francis. He was a welder, construction worker, an avid motorcyclist and a fisherman. John was married for 40 years to the love of his life. John Wayne Maddox passed away on Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, in Ocean Springs, Miss., at the age of 57. Mrs. Marilyn Elizabeth Prince, 60, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at her home in Ocean Springs. Aug 11 Mr. Thomas Earl Brightwell, 58, of Moss Point, Miss., was born Dec. 12, 1948, in Peterman, Ala. Mr. Brightwell passed on to eternal life on Aug. 11, 2007, in Moss Point. Douglas P. Hart, age 48, passed away at his home in Wewahitchka , FL. He was a native of Pascagoula, MS. Internment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park. Mrs. Lois Roberta Palmer, 84, passed away peacefully on Aug. 12, 2007, in Biloxi. Ms. Lisa Callie Smith, 46, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, at her residence in Pascagoula. She was born Jan. 12, 1961, in Laurel, Miss. Aug 13 Odren Curtis Germany Jr., 82 , of Gautier, MS. passed away Monday, August 13, 2007. Mr. Germany was born February 20, 1925 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Odren C. and Grace A. Germany Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife of 56 years, LaVerne Germany of Gautier, MS.; two sons, Tommy Lynn Germany and his wife Brenda of Pascagoula, MS. and Larry Odren Germany of Gautier, MS.; a daughter Lillie Carol Simon of Gautier, MS. ; eight grandchildren , six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Bosarge was born in Shubuta, Miss., on Feb. 12, 1936. Gwendolyn Cronier, 85, of Hurley, Miss., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007. She was born March 5, 1922, in Mobile, Ala. Charlotte Earline Jackson, 55, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at her home in Grand Bay, Ala. She was born Aug. 29, 1951, in Jackson County, Miss. Charlotte had downs syndrome and wasn't supposed to live past the age of five. She was truly an angel and everyone who knew here, loved her. Mr. Cleotha Hardimon, 74, of Moss Point, Miss., departed this life at home in Moss Point surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007. He was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Vance, Miss. Aug 15 Mrs. Mary Oakley, 86, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away at residence on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007. She is preceded in death by her Husband Jesse Bruce Oakley and two Brothers: Billy Schmidt and Olen Prather. Rebecca J. "Becky" Taylor, 55, of Lucedale, Miss., died Aug. 15, 2007, in Mobile, Ala. Aug 16 Ms. Dorothy Jane Salter, 65, of Lucedale, Miss., died Aug. 16, 2007. Jason Todd Westbrook, 32 of Gautier, Miss., was born August 12, 1975, in Jackson, Miss., and died August 16, 2007.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leon and Ethel Giddings, paternal grandparents, H.L. and Grace Westbrook, and his step-father, William S. JoAnn Callahan Cates Poole, 59, of Moss Point, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007, at Singing River Hospital after a short struggle with heart disease. Aug 20 Mrs. Rebecc Ann Breland Hodges, 55, Leakesville, Miss., died Aug. 20, 2007. Mr. Harold C. Spurlock Jr., 83, of Moss Point, Miss., was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He passed on to eternal life on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, in Pascagoula, Miss. Hilton LaRue Tucker, 61, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Aug. 20, 2007, in Biloxi, Miss. Mr. Tucker was born September 17, 1945 to the late William Lomis and Mary Lois Tucker in Pascagoula, MS. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Hilton l. Tucker II. She was born Jan. 10, 1917, in Vancleave, Miss. Aug 22 Ms. Mattie Bell (Ward) Street : On June 3, 1941, in a small town called Leakesville, Miss., Ms. Mattie Bell (Ward) Street was born to Floyd and Della (Zimmerman) Ward. Died Wednesday, August 22, 2007. Aug 23 Loretta Breland, 77, of Beaumont, Miss., died Aug. 23, 2007. Funeral services will be on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Triumph The Kingdom Church of God in Christ in Benndale. Interment will be at Sweetwater Cemetery. Dorothy Jean Davis, age 79, of Pascagoula and Grand Bay, AL passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2007 in Pascagoula. She was born September 20, 1927 in Castleberry, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hardin. Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 25, 2007. Helen Joan Montague, age 76, of Moss Point, MS, died August 23, 2007 . Joan was born March 17, 1931 in Lancaster, Ohio and moved to Pascagoula, MS in 1961. She was a member of Trinity Bible Church in Escatawpa, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Lucille Huffman; her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert D. Montague, Sr. Interment will be Jackson County Memorial Park, Pascagoula, MS. Ms. Marlene L. Pilz, 23, of Gautier, Miss., died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile crash. Born Sept. 16, 1984, in Los Angeles, Calif. Born September 16, 1984 in Los Angeles, CA. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gautier. Aug 24 J. C. Gill of Moss Point, Miss., was a native of Union, Miss. He was born to Jet Gill and Hattie Lee Boler on Oct. 14, 1938. After moving to the Mississippi Gulf Coast he became a dedicated member of Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Pascagoula, Miss., where he faithfully served on the Senior Usher Board. He was a loyal member of the Jim McInnis Masonic Lodge No. 228 PHA where he held several positions. J.C. Gill passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, in Pascagoula at the age of 68. Burial will follow at Scranton Cemetery in Pascagoula. Tallie Douglas Stringer, died Friday, August 24, 2007 from his beloved home here in south Pascagoula. He was born on June 4, 1915 in a small farming community in southeast Mississippi. Doug was part of a sharecropping family with four boys when times were hard for most Mississippians. Doug and his small family came from Laurel, Mississippi to the coast in 1941, as so many others did, to seek employment in the shipbuilding industry during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Stringer and Rosalie Cooper Stringer; three brothers, Henry Talmadge Stringer, Walland, TN; James Cleston Stringer, Lowell, NC; and Artimus Pascal Stringer, Pascagoula. Burial will be at Jackson County Memorial Park, Pascagoula, MS. Aug 25 Harry Johnson Fairley, 54, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Ethel Fairley; three brothers, Arthur Fairley, William Fairley and Hilton Fairley; and his sister, Ollie Mae Washington. Services will be graveside at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, at Sweetwater Cemetery in Benndale. Cecil Claude Killingsworth, 78 of Pascagoula, MS. passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007 in Biloxi, MS. Born May 15, 1929 in Chase, LA, the oldest of six children, to the late Almon and Ludie Killingsworth. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Lavon Killingsworth; a nephew, Mark Killingsworth; three nieces , Diana and Debra Killingsworth and Pam Killingsworth Green. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS. Aug 26 Roy Clayton Clark, 74, of Gautier, Miss., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007 in a Birmingham, AL hospital. He was born to the late Gordon and Lula Blevins Clark in Abingdon, VA on Nov. 4, 1932. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Turley in 2005. Internment will be held on Friday August 31, 2007 at Biloxi National Cemetery. Morris Joseph Coleman, 44, a native of Gautier, Miss., and a resident of Jackson, Miss., departed this life Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, for eternal rest with God. He was born on Oct. 25, 1962, in Gautier, to Mr. Henry Coleman Sr. and the late Mrs. Delena Jackson Coleman. His brother, Darrell Edward Coleman, and his mother preceded him in death. Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery, Gautier. Willard R. Rogers, 66, a native of Mississippi and long-time resident of Mobile, Ala., and Tillman's Corner died at a local hospital on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007. Mr. Rogers is preceded in death by his son, James Stephen Rogers; his parents, E. B. and Lena Rogers; sisters, Era McLemore, Bobbie McLemore and Annette Bennett. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. James Michael Pevey and his wife, Mrs. Maudie Stockman Pevey. Mrs. Nevels Lovenia Ryals, 90, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at her home in Pascagoula. She was born July 22, 1917, in Escatawpa, Miss. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. Eddie and Mrs. Rosie McQuarrie Holloman; husband, Mr. Elbert Allen Ryals Jr.; brother, Eddie L. Holloman and sister, Clara Inez Holloman. Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens, Escatawpa. Aug 30 Joyce Carol Hayes Clark, 77, of Gautier, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2007. She was born April 21, 1930 in Shubuta, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.G. Clark; parents, John L. and Grace Hayes. Interment will be at Pinecrest Cemetery in Gautier, MS. Becky S. Norris, 74, and a resident of Lucedale, Miss., died on Thursday, August 30, 2007, in Mobile, Ala.Mrs. Norris was a native of Marion, Ind. She was an honorary member of the Red Hat Society in Lucedale. Mrs. Norris is preceded in death by her parents, Nellis and Elsie Clark Stout. A graveside service will be held at 5 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Lucedale. Aug 31 John Breckenridge "Breck" Davis, 33, of Vancleave, Miss., died Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, in Vancleave. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Claude Corbello and grandmother, Doris Tillman Davis. On Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, there will be a 10 a.m. graveside service in the Community of Christ Church Cemetery, on Mt. Pleasant Road in Vancleave. Mrs. Mary Nell Carter Hearndon, 73, passed away peacefully on Aug. 31, 2007, in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Hearndon was born Jan. 24, 1934, in Wade, Miss., to William and Audrey Carter.
