Luigi Charles Fiorenza, 91, of Ocean Springs, MS died January 1, 2013. Mr.
Fiorenza was a retired M/SGT in the US Air Force of 20 years. He was a WW II
Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Amelia Paolillo;
son, Nicholas Fiorenza; four brothers and one sister. A Mass of Christian burial
at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs.

in Moss Point. Roberta was born in Goose Creek, TX. Roberta was preceded in
death by her husband, Paul Robinson; parents, Roberta L. and Elliot W. Crawford;
siblings, Elizabeth Prudhomme and Royce “R.L.” Crawford. A private graveside
service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Allen Auge, 80, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away January 4, 2013, in Ocean
Springs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Auge, a daughter, Kathleen
Auge, four sisters and three brothers.

Rachel Ann Ables, 30, of Vancleave passed away Jan. 5, 2012. She is preceded in
death by her brother, Galen Ables; aunt, Pricilla Clancy; maternal grandfather,
Roy Borries; paternal grandfather, Emmit Ables; paternal grandmother, Louis
Ables. Funeral Service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. 

Phillip G. Bond, 51, passed away January 5, 2013.

Dixie Houston Davis, 75, a resident of Pascagoula, MS since 1958, passed away
January 5, 2012.She was preceased by her husband of 39 years, Noel Stanton Davis
and her sister, Rachel Cates. She attended Houston School (named for her
grandfather) and Itawamba High School.

Jesse Glenn Hughes, 22, of Pascagoula passed away January 5, 2013. Jesse was
born in Thibodeaux, LA to Robert and Lisa Hughes. He was a 2009 graduate of
Pascagoula High School and was scheduled to graduate May 2013 from Rhodes
College in Memphis TN with a degree in Chemistry. He was awarded the Rhodes
Presidential Scholarship, the Sam Walton Community Scholarship. He is preceded
in death by grandfather, James Birk; great-grandfather, Ira Robichaux;
great-grandparents; William Taylor and Florence Sparkman, Leo V. and Bernice
Gray and Boyce and Bernice Hughes; uncle, Chris Hughes.

Harry Owen Parry Jr., 81, of Pascagoula, passed away January 5, 2013. Harry
served in the United States Army at Fort Bliss, Texas, and was a member of
Arlington Heights Baptist Church in Pascagoula, MS. He is preceded in death by
his parents Harry Owen Parry Sr. and Margaret Carr Parry. Visitation at
Arlington Heights Baptist Church in Pascagoula, MS.

James Webster Wilson, 72, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away January 5, 2013. He
was born on December 29, 1940, in Meridian, MS, to Edward Charles Wilson and
Jane Kathleen Lane Wilson. Following law school, Jim and his family settled in
Ocean Springs, where he served as City Attorney from 1977-1980, and then founded
boutique law firms in Biloxi and New Orleans.

Mary Katherine Cumbaa, 66 of Pensacola passed away Jan. 6, 2013, born in
Pascagoula, Miss. She was preceded in death by her grandson Michael Stevenson.

Clarice Dement Dry, resident of Gautier and Laurel, MS, passed away January 6,
2013. Born on December 2, 1932 in Laurel, MS, Mrs. Dry was preceded in death by
first husband, Henry C. Dement, Jr.; second husband, Bill Dry; four brothers,
Burnis, Ralph, Dick and Billy Poore; one sister, Selma Hosey and
great-granddaughter, Brayden Dailey. Rev. Michael Wilkinson of Arlington Baptist
Church in Pascagoula will officiate.

James Dell Harris, 93, of Moss Point, passed away January 6, 2013 in Oxford, MS.
Mr. Harris was born November 27, 1919 in Clarks, LA to the late James Powell and
Della Mae (Adair) Harris. Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by
his wife, Nannie “Nan” Belle (Kemp) Harris; two sisters and four brothers. Mr.
Harris was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII where he worked as an
Amphibious Engineer. Funeral service with Reverend Michael Perry, Dr. Bobby
Perry, and Reverend David Greer officiating.

Preston A. Lott, 61, of Carriere, MS passed away January 6, 2013. Preston was
born April 7, 1951. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dymple and Wilford
Lott; aunts, uncles and grandparents. He served in the Army for two years during
the Vietnam War. Memorial service with Pastor Allen Hickman officiating.

Rosemarie Emma Marie Weber Smith, 77, of Ocean Springs, passed away January 6,
2013 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Rosemarie was born in Berlin, Germany. As a
child, she endured the hardships of World War II in Berlin. She lost family
members and her family home during the intense Allied bombing raids. With her
father taken as prisoner of war by the Russian Army. As the Russian army
advanced, the small family fled on foot traveling for months from village to 
village seeking food and shelter. Soon after the war ended, her mother
contracted Typhoid Fever and died. Rosemarie met her husband James V. Smith in
the early 60's while he was stationed in Berlin serving in the United States Air
Force. She moved to the US with her new family in 1966. Funeral Mass will be
held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs with Father Thomas White
the celebrant. Cemetery not listed.

Fannie Lee Parr Flint, born October 30, 1925 in Greenville, Mississippi, passed
away January 7, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband J. W. (Wayne) Flint and
her dear angel Phillip Thomas Flint.

death by his wife, Peggy Tapper Bonin Brown. Mr. Brown was cremated. He was
buried next to his wife, Peggy.

Morris Peter Dupont, 97, passed away January 8, 2013 in Mobile, AL. Born in
Avolyes Parrish, LA, he resided most of his life in Pascagoula, MS and the last
13 years in Mobile, AL. Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Helen Breland
Dupont, infant son James Larry Dupont, parents Modelise and Elette Dupont, 5
brothers, 6 sisters and their spouses, stepdaughter Renee Baggett.

in Scotland. He was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by
his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robbie (Dorothy) Robertson; George Henry Johnson,
Sr.; Mr. and Mrs. I.D. (Det) Stewart, Sr.; Floyd Wages; and uncles, Stephen
Johnson and Jerry Robertson. Wesley graduated from Resurrection Catholic High
School in 1998.

Mr. Ronald L. Jones, 51, of Moss Point, MS passed away January 8, 2013.

Maggie Vee Mallette, 83, of Vancleave, MS passed away January 8, 2013. Maggie
Vee was born on April 9, 1929 to Johnnie and Mamie Fairley in Vancleave. Maggie
Vee married Saint Elmo Mallette, Sr. They were married for 42 years when he
passed away on February 16, 1989. She is also preceded in death by her sisters,
Sabra, Alta Mae and Trudy and her brother, Hinton.

Pascagoula. Mr. Cooper was born on May 5, 1939 in Eupora, MS to the late Henry
T. and Myrtie Mae Cooper. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cooper was preceded in
death by his granddaughter, Allison Stringfellow.

James Aubrey Stokes 72, of Moss Point, MS, passed away January 10, 2013 in
Pascagoula, MS. Aubrey was born on April 8, 1940 in Jackson County, MS to the
late Murray and Loistine Stokes. In addition to his parents, Aubrey was preceded
in death by two brothers, Lloyd M. Stokes and Ronald Gerald Stokes; two sisters,
Gloria Jean Mahathy and Lois Arlene Oliver; as well as 2 nieces and nephews.

Paul G. Wallace, 55, of Vancleave, MS passed away January 10, 2013 in New
Orleans LA. Born in Brookhaven MS to Grady and Minnie Wallace, he lived and went
to school in Bogue Chitto MS. He moved to Vancleave MS in 1981 to accept his
first teaching / coaching (basketball) job at Vancleave High School. He taught
and coached at St John High School while finishing his administration degree
from USM. As an administrator, he worked at Pascagoula High Annex, Gautier High
School, George County High School and retired from Vancleave High School in May
2012. He began his retirement by accepting a job as elementary principal at
Westminster Academy in Gulfport, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents
Grady and Minnie Wallace, father-in-law Grover Wallace, brother-in-law Ronnie L.
Wallace.

Mrs. Judy Arlene Miller White, 72, of Gautier, MS passed away January 10, 2013.
She was born July 19, 1941 in Jackson County, MS. She was preceded in death by
her parents Enoch and Margaret Miller; daughter Norma Lynn Byrd; sister Betty
Barefood; brothers Billy L. Miller, Gerald E. Miller and Timothy Miller.

November 8, 1926 in Wyocena, WI. Upon graduation from high school, he served in
the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1945. Rev. Cowley is preceded in death by his
parents, Delbert T and Emma Cowley; wife, Phyllis Johnson Cowley; sister,
Mildred Henning; nephew, Kevin Colburn; and niece, Judy White.

Marvin Wesley McQueen, 66, passed away January 11, 2013 at his home in
Escatawpa, MS surrounded by his family. He was born July 21, 1946 in Escatawpa.
Mr. McQueen was a self-employed roofer and painter and owned McQueen Roofing and
Painting Company for 52 years and he enjoyed helping others in need. He was
preceded in death by his parents: Dewey Hobson McQueen, Sr. and Mary Rogers
McQueen; his son, Jeremy Edward McQueen; brothers: Dewey Hobson McQueen, Jr. and
Alvin Dale McQueen; and his grandson, J.C. Cook. He is survived by his wife,
Karen C. McQueen of Escatawpa; his sons, Henry McQueen and Jason McQueen; his
daughters, Elizabeth McQueen Garner and Penny S. Cook, all of Escatawpa;
step-children, Renae (William) Miller, Sharlene Hernandez and Bubba Dunn and
Robert Fulton; sister, Brenda Ford of Lucedale.

Leonard Carl Wicklund, 83, of Gautier, passed away January 11, 2013 in Biloxi.
Leonard was a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for over 40 years. He was a United
States Marine, United States Army and United States Air Force Veteran. Leonard
is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Wicklund Mason; parents, Carl and Ellen
Wicklund; sister, Claire Wicklund; and brother, Harry Wicklund. Memorial
service: Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Ocean Springs.

Mr. D.A. Patt, 87, of Pascagoula passed away January 12, 2013. He was born in
Raleigh, MS on August 17, 1925 to Cary & Zula Patt. He served in the U.S. Navy
during WWII. Mr. Patt served as a Deacon at Eastlawn Baptist Church for 12 years
and at Calvary Baptist Church for 19 years, where he also served as Associate
and Interim Pastor. Mr. Patt is preceded in death by his parents. 

Mrs. Sheryl Lea McAdams Scott, 65, of Gulfport, MS passed away January 12, 2013.
Born in Leadville, CO to Tom and Helena McAdams, and lived most of her life in
Pascagoula, MS . She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She attended
Pascagoula High School. Preceded in death by her father Tom McAdams and a
grandson Terry D.C. Logan.

Ronald Scott Shultz, 56, of Moss Point, MS passed away January 13, 2013. He was
a proud owner of the Annex Restaurant where he enjoyed visiting with his friends
at the restaurant. He was preceded in death by his father Roland Shultz and a
brother Joseph “Putt” Shultz. A memorial service for Mr. Shultz will be held at
a later date.

Gerald Ambrose “Jerry” Kennedy, Jr.,57, of Pascagoula passed away Jan. 14, 2013.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York and has been a resident of Pascagoula for 31
years. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Ambrose Kennedy, Sr.; two
brothers, Dean E. Kennedy and Gregory A. Kennedy.

Evelyn Faircloth Morrell, 91, of Vancleave, MS passed away January 14, 2013 in
Pascagoula, MS. Mrs Morrell was born January 6, 1922 at Bonifay, Florida the
only child of Lee and Della Faircloth. In addition to her parents she was
preceded in death by her husband, Paul Russell Morrell and daughter-in-law Traci
Morrell. 

Jesse Myers, 58, of Escatawpa, MS died January 14, 2013. He was preceded in
death by his parents Jesse and Vivian Myers. Jesse’s cremains will be spread
into nature which he loved so much.

Bill L. Stevens, 69, of Lufkin, TX, born Sept. 3, 1943 in Pascagoula, MS and
passed away Jan. 14, 2013 in Lufkin, TX.

Mrs. Lavada Harrell, 79, of the Forts Lake Community passed away January 15,
2013. Over her life she has been a nurse, co-owner and operator of "I Love
Yogurt" in Moss Point. She is preceded in death by her husband Billie; son
Dwayne; parents Luther and Samantha Williamson; sisters Loretta Williamson and
Willie Mae Alexander; brothers Clyde and Floyd Williamson. A graveside service
will be held at Machpelah Cemetery with Rev. Wendell Stork and Rev. Tim Cauley
officiating.

Elaine Smith Richard, 66, of Hurley, MS, passed away January 15, 2013. She was
born October 14, 1946, in Avera, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Batson and Betty Smith.

Maggie Nell Davis Fain, 82, passed away January 16, 2013. She was born on April
23, 1930, in Humboldt, TN, to Luther and Flossie Davis. She was married to
Harold Fain and together, had two daughters. She was a volunteer with the Ocean
Springs Hospital Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents,
her daughter Pam Lyons; her sister Naomi Dodson; and her brothers, Junius,
Billy, Bill, and Stanley Davis. Visitation with a Service immediately following
at Ocean Springs Church of Christ on Washington Avenue.

Vance was a retired Real Estate Agent and she was of the Baptist faith. Mrs.

Methodist Church of Lucedale.

Anna Lee Scarbrough, of Wade, passed away January 17, 2013. She was born March
20, 1918 in Latimer, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents
William W. Holland and Laura Ellen (Goff) Holland; her beloved husband of 68
years, Linwood; sisters Addie (Walter) Webber, Bertha (A.J.) Moody, Lula (Leon)
Cumbest, Mary (Jerry) Davis, Geneva (Smitty) Smith; brothers Ellis (Choyce)
Holland and James (Minnie) Holland. She was a long time member of Caswell
Springs United Methodist Church where she taught kindergarten, Sunday school and
served on many committees. Visitation at Caswell Springs United Methodist Church

Springs. Mr. James was born in Ripley, MS and had been a resident of Ocean
Springs for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Iris James.

December 30, 1929 in Moss Point, Mississippi.

Audrey Harbison Breland, 87, a resident of Pascagoula, MS, passed away January
20, 2013. Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Reynolds Harbison
and Lula Martin Harbison; her husband, Vinson Breland; brothers, Dan Coy
Harbison, Lee Harbison, Joe Harbison, and Dick Harbison; sisters, Arlynn
Garraway, Edna Goodwin, and Mary Lou Harbison; and her daughter-in-law, Peggy
Breland. After Hurricane Katrina, Audrey relocated to Birmingham, Alabama and
recently moved to Madison, Alabama, where she passed away at the home 
of her son, Bert. Burial in Columbia, MS.

Marvin Ruel Dean, Sr., 81, of Moss Point, passed away January 20, 2013 in
Pascagoula. He was born December 26, 1931 in Newton, Mississippi. Marvin was a
United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Dean was preceded in
death by his parents, Marvin Buddy and Allie Aycock Dean; son, Ricky Dean;
brother, Tommy "Red" Dean; and Gerald H. "Jerri" Dean.

Emiliana Mercado Parker 70, of Gautier, MS passed away Jan. 20, 2013 in Pascagoula.

Jonell Jones Pinter, 83, of Moss Point, MS passed away January 20, 2013. Mrs.
Pinter was born to Fate and Winnie Pearl Jones in Leake County, MS on March 25,
1929. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hughie Pinter; a son,
Billy Pat Pinter, and a brother, F.L. Jones.

John Cotter, 60, passed away January 21, 2013 at his home in Lacombe, LA. A
native of Pascagoula, MS and lived in Lacombe for the past 7 years. Memorial
Service in Covington, LA. 

Charlie B. Cunningham, 82, of Pascagoula passed away January 21, 2013. He was
born on March 4, 1930 in Arena, MS to Carl & Mattie Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham
served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Cunningham is preceded in death by
his parents; brothers, Calvin, Clarence, & Cecil Cunningham; and sisters, Ina
Mae Brown and Juanita Miller.

Charles "Gene" Moore, 81, of Pascagoula passed away Jan. 23, 2013. He was born
Sept. 21, 1931 in Russellville, Ark and has been a resident of Pascagoula since
1943. He was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean
Conflict. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Fred Moore and Lillie
N. Moore; nephew, Mike Sartin.

Sybil Ellen Rowan Smith, 99, passed away January 21, 2013. Mrs. Smith was a
resident of Jackson County, Mississippi since 1974. A native of Florida, she was
born in Gadsden County to the late Susie Jane Ferrell Rowan and the late Stephen
Richard Rowan. On December 18, 1933 she married Wilbur Ley Smith and in 1942
they moved to Port St. Joe, Florida. They were both charter members of Long
Avenue Baptist Church of Port St. Joe. After the death of her husband, Mrs.
Smith moved to Pascagoula (MS) where she became a member of First Baptist
Church. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by
her son, Wilbur Ley Smith, Jr., grandson Wilbur Garrett Smith, brothers Robert
Jefferson Rowan, John Daniel Rowan, Herman Colonel Rowan, Oma Eric Rowan and
sisters Doris Louise Neely and Marguerite Jane Nadaud.

Pascagoula. Mrs. Brown was born on March 24, 1920 in Panama City. FL. She owned
the Dew Drop Inn by Pascagoula High School. She wa preceded in death by her
husband Reginal Brown; her parents, seven brothers, daughter Sandy Brown, sons,
Lawnie Scruggs Jr. and Harold R. Scruggs Sr. Visitation: First Methodist Church

Mrs. Lucienne C. Bruffy, 89, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away January 23, 2013,
in Gautier, MS. Mrs. Bruffy had been a resident of Ocean Springs since 2005 and
previously lived in Tampa, FL and Rennes, France. She attended St. Elizabeth
Seton Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bruffy
and her parents, Maria and Gerome Cardinal.

Ina Louise Carter Butler, 92, passed away January 23, 2013 at her home in
Hurley. She was born April 4, 1920 in Moss Point. She was preceded in death by
her father and mother, Edwin H. and Ella Goff Carter; and four brothers. Funeral
services will be held at 11:00AM from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rodney
Coleman officiating.

Shirley Kemp of Gautier, MS passed away Wednesday in Gautier.

Robert G. Taylor, resident of Moss Point, January 23, 2013, born February 2,
1930 in Ruston, Louisiana. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Glen
Taylor and Floy Alexander Taylor, and sister, Nancy Armstrong.  Mr. Taylor was a
faithful member of the First Baptist Church Moss Point SBC where he served as a
Deacon. He also served as a Gideon and was a past member of the Home of Grace
Board. He served in the US Navy, and fought during the Korean Conflict. Funeral

Thomas James Thawley, 80, passed away January 23, 2013. He was born September
10, 1932 in Camden, NJ. Thomas was a Veteran of United States Navy. Mr. Thawley
was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Christian Thawley and Doris Katrina
(Jones) Thawley, both of Camden, NJ; one son, Michael Thawley, also of Camden
NJ; and one daughter, Michelle Thawley of Pascagoula. 

Densel Triplett, born February 28, 1938 in Leake County, MS to the late Elzie
Triplett and Izola Magee Triplett. He was preceded in death by his loving wife
of 38 years, Fannie Walterine Triplett (deceased August 3, 2002); his parents,
Elzie and Izola Magee Triplett; a sister, Elaine Triplett McInnis; a brother,
Nathaniel Triplett; his nephew, Johnny Carl Triplett and his uncle, Ester Nash.

was born on Nov. 10, 1932 in Madison County, TN. Mrs. Worley was preceded in

his family. Jason is the son of Harvey and Phyllis Bond, the grandson of Ruth

1925 in Moss Point, passed away January 25, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Myers
was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alvin Myers, Sr. She leaves to
cherish her memories, four children, one brother, fifteen grandchildren,

Hal Gautier Vaughan, 87, of Gautier, MS passed away January 26, 2013, born
February 5, 1925 in Gautier, MS to the late Paul Turner and Celeste Gautier
Vaughan. He was a 1943 graduate of Pascagoula High School and a member of St.
Mary’s Catholic Church in Gautier. He was owner and operator of C&V Construction
and H&O Materials in Jackson County for over 40 years. In addition to his
parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Alyne Skehan
Vaughan, and his second wife, Hazel Gibson Martinez Vaughan; two brothers Paul
Turner Vaughan, Jr. and Morton Lindsey Vaughan; and three sisters, Celeste
Vaughan Shipman, Emily Vaughan Ferguson Shepard, and Agnes Vaughan Sebastian. He
is survived by seven children; a brother; brother in-law: 23 grandchildren; 28
great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and numerous other relatives and
friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 10am-12pm at St
Mary’s Catholic Church in Gautier with Memorial Mass at 12pm, followed by full
military honors.

born April 18, 1937 in New Haven, CT and has been a resident of Gautier for over
40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Eugene Anthony Mohr.

Mary Lynn Bilbo Young, 77, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away January 27, 2013.
Mary was born on March 26, 1935 to William Bryan and Juanita Bilbo on a farm in
Fountainbleau in Jackson County, MS. She attended Belle Fountain Baptist Church
which was founded by her grandfather, Walter Ray Bilbo and his two brothers in
the 1880's through Jesus Christ. Mary married Fred Browning in 1955. He was 
stationed at KAFB at the time. Fred died in 1960. Mary is preceded in death by
her sister, Betty Lou Bilbo Cox; brother, Larry Bilbo; parents, William Bryan

2013 in Moss Point. Carolyn was born on July 10, 1941 and lived in Moss Point
all of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Canfield Jr.,
her parents Luther W. and Sarah Claire Wells Tanner Sr., her brother and his
wife Luther and Martha Tanner Jr.

Mr. Ernest Lancette, 87, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away January 28, 2013, in
Ocean Springs. Mr. Lancette was born in Syracuse, NY on February 13, 1925. He
moved to the coast in 1999. In Syracuse he worked for Hersey's Chocolate,
General Electric and the Railroad. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946-1948.
Mr. Lancette was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Davis, two sons,
Earnie Lancette and James Lancette, parents, Gladys Lancette Puhula and George
J. Lancette, brothers, Eugene Lancette, Richard (Mary) Lancette, Donald
(Shirley) Lancette and James Lancette, sisters, Myrtle (Lou) Miller and Lillian
Muser and brother-in-law, Bill Jennings. He was also preceded in death by his
loving companion, Betty Lancette Mallette.

Franklin Delano Miller, 79, of Vancleave passed away January 28, 2013 in Ocean
Springs. He was born on March 30, 1933 in Moss Point, MS to Charles and Annie
Miller.He is preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.Private services

Dennis Alex Rogers, 40, of Pascagoula, passed away January 28, 2013 in
Pascagoula. Dennis was a Licensed Private Detective. Memorial Service at Church

Wayne Allistan Martin, 88, of Gautier, passed away January 28, 2013 at his home.
He is preceded in death by his father Judge Wiley Martin and mother Nettie
Willamson Martin of Foxworth, Mississippi. He had four sisters, Paulene
Fortenberry, Velma Brooks, Agnes Boyles and Maddie Lewis, all deceased. Mr.
Martin was a veteran of the US Navy, World War II. They owned the Evangeline
Restaurant in Pascagoula as well as a motel for years. Mr. Martin was laid to
rest in Lucedale, MS.

born in Biloxi, MS on November 19, 1923. He served as a radioman in the US Navy
during WW II and was assigned duty in San Francisco, CA, Honolulu, HI and in the
South Pacific on the Island of Guam in the Marianas Islands. He is preceded in
death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.S. Fremin; his wife, Janet Findlay Fremin
of Kilmarnock, Scotland; sister, Rita Fremin McFadden and four brothers, Donald,
Lloyd, Ralph and Neil Fremin. A Mass of Christian burial at St. Alphonsus
Catholic Church in Ocean Springs.

Marietta, GA. Born in Winona, MS to the late Lloyd and Hazel Hubbert Kelly, she
had been a resident of Pascagoula for over 60 years. Mrs. Whitley retired in
1985 after 30 years of service as an executive secretary to Mr. Robert Lingle
with Singing River Hospital Systems. She was preceded in death by her husband
and the father of her children, Mr. Harry Bemis, in July 1997. Funeral service:
