Coggins, 87, of Pascagoula, MS, and Florence, SC, was the widow of John Valentine Coggins. Died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007 in Florence, SC. Robertson, 49, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at his home in Pascagoula. He was born May 17, 1957 in Alvin, Texas. Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his father, Mr. G.N. "Robbie" Robertson and mother, Mrs. Willadene Robertson Boutwell. Private services. Mr. Robert Dwight Williams, 46, was born to the union of the late Mr. Willie B. Williams, Sr. and Mrs. Maudess Brown Williams on Sept. 24, 1960 in Tampa (Hillsborough County), Fla. His father, Willie B. Williams, Sr., his two brothers, John Henry Williams, and Willie B. Nov. 2, 1909 in Sunflower, Ala. to the union of Will and Sarah Wooten. He accepted Christ at an early age and served as the oldest Deacon in Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Jake was preceded in death by his parents; three wives; two brothers; three sisters; a daughter; and two grandsons. Interment will follow at Scranton Cemetery in Pascagoula, Miss. February 11 Mr. Wendell Ray Boykin, 57, of Ocean Springs, MS, went to the Lord on February 11, 2007 after his battle with Pancreatic cancer. Wendell was preceded in death by his father, Ottis Ray Boykin. Private service. Janet Houston Concannon, of Pascagoula, Miss., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007 at home after an extended battle with endometrial cancer. Mrs. Gage was born Jan. 6, 1918 in Litchfield, Ill. to Russell and Julia Bandy. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Lynette Donahue. Born on Dec. 26, 1953, in Huntsville, Ala., to Frank Edward Griffith Sr. and the late Marguerite Mabian Campbell Griffith. February 14 Emmit Fountain, Sr., 90, of Moss Point, Miss. was born Nov. 4, 1916 in Monroeville, Ala. Died on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Major and Annie Fountain; wife, Mae "Mary" Fountain; three sons, Emmit Fountain, Jr., Henry Lee Fountain and Forrest Sherrod. Interment will be in Scranton Cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss. Rev. Athens McNeil, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007. Rev. McNeil served as a pastor of Baptist churches for 45 years, from 1951-1996. Pastorates included: Union Junior Baptist Church, Hot Coffee, MS; Culvert Street Baptist Church, Whistler, AL; Irene Chapel Baptist Church, Hattiesburg, MS; Hathorn Baptist Church, Hathorn, MS; Bunker Hill Baptist Church, Columbia, MS; Eastlawn Baptist Church, Pascagoula, MS; Macedonia Baptist Church, Enterprise, MS and Griffin Street Baptist Church, Moss Point, MS. He also served as interim pastor of several other churches in his retirement years. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS. February 15 Thomas E. "Tommy" Jones, 53 years old, of Moss Point, Miss died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007; born on Feb. 20, 1953, in Pascagoula; and was a lifetime resident of the Bayou Cumbest Community. Tommy attended Moss Point High School. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Eugene Jones. Dr. Marion D. Tucker of Ocean Springs died Thursday morning, Feb 15 of complications from a previous stroke. She was born on January 26, 1939, the youngest daughter of Thurston Naylor and Allie Bell Dorset in Trenton, Tennessee. Preceded in death by her father and mother, sister, Bobby Jean Brown, and brother, Thurston Naylor, Jr. Buried at: Oakland Cemetery, Trenton, TN. February 16 Mrs. Esther Drake Curl, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, February 16, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jack Curl, daughter, Shelley Rucker, parents, Benjamin and Blanche Drake, sister, Clair Williams, and three brothers, Ben Drake, Jack Drake and David Drake. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. Mr. George L. "Doc" Daugherty, 76, of Gautier, Miss., passed away Feb. 16, 2007 in Ocean Springs, Miss. He was born in Gibsonberg, Ohio on Feb. 12, 1931. Mr. Daugherty is reunited with his loving parents, Mr. Charles and Mrs. Edith Mae Daugherty. No services will be held. Ruby Joyce Moulder Mathis, 81, was born October 13, 1925 and grew up in Hattiesburg, MS. She passed away, peacefully, on February 16, 2007 the loving presence of her son, Buddy, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Mrs. Mathis' memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 2101 Market St. in Pascagoula, MS on Wed., Feb. 21, 2007 at 1 pm. Visitation will begin at the church at 12 noon an hour before the service, with Rev. James Miller officiating. Interment will be at Beaumont Cemetery, Beaumont, MS. She was a former Moss Point School System teacher at Ed Mayo; and Moss Point Hight School where she worked as a Business Teacher. Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" Thelbert Tapper, 65, of Vancleave, MS passed away Friday February 16, 2007. Mr. Tapper was born in Bayou Cassotte, MS on January 12, 1942. Mr. Ronnie Tapper was a loving son, brother and father and was preceded in death by his father, Norman T. Tapper, (son of John Tapper and Emma Sprinkle of Dauphin Island, AL and later Biloxi) his mother, Hilda E. Tapper, and his sister, Mrs. Peggy Ann (Tapper) [1] Bonin [2] Brown. February 17 Mrs. Margie Kate Monk Stauter, 85, of Moss Point, Mississippi, died Saturday, February 17, 2007 in Mobile, Alabama. Mrs. Stauter was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. Jesse Cleveland and Mrs. Kate Jordan Monk; husband, Mr. Claude L. "Deig" Stauter; four brothers, Talmadge Monk, George Monk, Lee Otis Monk, Bobby Ray Monk; and two sisters, Odessa Myers and Nell Grimble. Burial in Union Cemetery, Moss Point. February 18 Rosa Lee Byrnes, 69, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Feb. 18, 2007, in Ocean Springs, Miss. Mrs. Byrnes was born Jan. 25, 1938 in Georgia. No public services will be held. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Vancleave, Miss. February 19 John F. "Captain Johnny" Rathel, 87 years old, of Moss Point, Miss., died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007. He was born on Sept. 4, 1919, in Panama City, Fla. "Captain Johnny" worked for Clark Seafood in Pascagoula for 27 years as a commercial fisherman and boat captain. He is preceded in death by his daughters, Dolores Rand and Brenda Stewart.Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens Mr. Floyd Zell Woullard, 93, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2007. Mr. Woullard was born March 21, 1913 to the late Mr. Eugene Woullard and Mrs. Lorene McDonald Woullard in Vinegar Bend, Miss.
