She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Peter MacKenzie; her mother, Ethel Bertheaud MacKenzie; her stepmother, Edith Gelbke MacKenzie; and two brothers-in-law, Philippe Schaffner and D.L. "Pat" Connor. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. Eunice Mary (Millender) Jones was born on Sept. 3, 1924, in Peterman, Ala., to Mary Ellen Hamilton and Frank Stanton. Interment will be in First Baptist Cemetery, Escatawpa. Mrs. Vivian Thorbury May, 89, of Moss Point, Miss., died Oct. 1, 2007. Doris Ellen White, 62, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Oct. 1, 2007. She was born May 3, 1945, in Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Carter White; mother, Helena Amelia White, and aunt, Edwina Brewer. Interment will be at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula. Oct 2 Mrs. Marie V. Krebs Hare, 81, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007. Mrs. Hare was born Dec. 4, 1925, to the late Leo Francis and Marie Florence Farragut Krebs in Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Leo Krebs. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula. Mr. Rufus Kay, 81, of Port St. Joe, Fla., but recently of Pascagoula, Miss., died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, in Pascagoula. He was born in Ashford, Ala., on Sept. 11, 1926. Mr. Kay is reunited with his loving parents, Vester and Ada Lee Kay and a brother, Pat Kay. There will be a memorial service held at Faith Bible Church in Port St. Joe at a later date. Oct 3 Rhonda Lynne (Stone) Knight, 50, died in Big Creek, Miss., after complications pursuant to congestive heart emphysema. Born to Charles and Betty Stone of Pascagoula, Miss., at the "old hospital." She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles D. Stone and Betty C. Stone, Pascagoula; brother, James D. Oct 4 Craig Robert Culver Sr., 60, of Gautier, Miss., passed away Oct. 4, 2007, in Ocean Springs, Miss. Mr. Culver was born March 9, 1947, in South Hampton, Long Island, N.Y. Craig was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Culver and his aunt, Frances Culver. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Goff officiating. Floyd Otis Ezell Jr., 69, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at his home in Lucedale, Miss. Born in Leakesville, Miss., he was the son of the late Floyd Otis Ezell Sr. and the late Vesta (Clifton) Ezell. Interment will follow in the Rocky Creek Cemetery in Lucedale. Oct 5 Crystal Ryan Davis, 28, of Vancleave, Miss., passed away on Friday, Oct. 5, 2007. Clemons, 60, of Gautier, Miss, passed away Oct. 5, 2007, in Ocean Springs, Miss., at the age of 60. She was born in Warren County, Miss., on April 7, 1947, to the late L.B. Oct 6 Memorial service for Elder Otis Lee Anderson will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Basin Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Lucedale, Miss. Charles E "Chuck" Smith of Gautier, Miss., passed away Oct. 6, 2007, at Keesler AFB Medical Center. He was 71. He was born Aug. 13, 1936, to Thaddeus "Hib" and Mary Smith in Tylertown, Miss. Interment with full military honors was at Rushing Cemetery in Tylertown. Richard Adolph Vogle, 75, of Saucier, Miss., was called to rest, Saturday, Oct. 6, after a 15-year battle against cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Trenton and Josephine Vogle; a sister, Betty Vogle Davis. Ms. Patricia "Trish" Ann Briley Williams, 53, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away after a lengthy illness on Oct. 6, 2007, at her residence. She was born May 3, 1954, in Mobile, Ala. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara (Vice) Briley, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lum (Mildred) Vice and Mr. and Mrs. J Larkin (Mary Ann) Briley. The service will be conducted by Rev. Interment will be in Chicago. Oct 8 Minerva C. Cunningham, 96, of Lucedale, Miss., went home to be with Jesus on Oct. 8, 2007. She was born May 16, 1911, in Lucedale and lived most of her life in Jackson County. She resided in George County for the past 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris E. Cunningham; three daughters, Frances Thibodeaux, Cynthia Bernard, Priscilla Austin; one son, Cecil Cunningham; two grandchildren, James Craig Ball and Tina Marie Ball, and one daughter-in-law, Betty Cunningham. Michael Winston Dunn Sr., 44, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away on Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at USA Medical Hospital in Mobile, Ala. He was born Oct. 25, 1962, in Donaldsonville, S.C. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Dunn; grandparents, Arlo and Thelma Dunn; Bruce Donaldson. Interment will follow with Full Military Honors at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula. Mrs. Geraldine Robinson, 89, of Pascagoula died Oct. 8, 2007. Jerry Oneil Sherrod was born Oct. 8, 1934, in Philadelphia, Miss., (Neshoba County) to the late Hector C. Sherrod and Sudie Hudson Sherrod. He died Oct. 8, 2007, at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, Miss. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Emma Jean Sherrod; his parents, Hector and Sudie Sherrod. Interment will be held at Scranton Cemetery. She was born March 31, 1917, in Lucedale, Miss. and died Oct. 25, 2007, in Lucedale. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Ima Eubanks; her sons, Don Thomas and Winston Ray Greene; two brothers, Leon and Houston Eubanks. She was married to Thomas Eli Greene on Jan. 27, 1937, in Lucedale. They had two children, Don Thomas and Winston Ray Greene whom are both deceased. Don was Married to Edna Joy Hilbun and they had six children. Burial will be at Rocky Creek Cemetery in George County, Miss. Laura Mae McMillan, 76, died on Oct. 25, 2007. She was born July 22, 1931, in Biloxi, Miss. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Curtis McMillan Sr.; one son, Malcom Andrew McMillan; a daughter, Margaret Ann McMillan; her parents, Earl and Mamie Borries; a brother, James Borries, and a granddaughter, Phyllis McMillan. Fisher Sr. and Evelyn Grant Fisher. He departed this life Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at home, in the same room in which he was born. Emma Louise Byars, 66, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, in Ocean Springs, Miss. She was born Oct. 3, 1941, in Prentiss, Miss. Preceided in death by Debbie Mavromihalis, and her parents, Rex J. and Allene Polk. Eugene Joseph Necaise Jr., 61, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, in Pascagoula. She was born Oct. 10, 1917, in Mobile, Ala. She was preceded in death by her parents, Waverly and Marie Shepherd Jones; her husband, Ty Albin; her brother, Arthur "Red" Shepherd; son-in-law, Bobby Baria; great-grandson, Darden Baria; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Scheffler and Arwilda Shepherd. Mr. Johnnie L. Burrage born Dec. 3, 1947, in Philadelphia, Miss. He was the fourth of six sons born to Mr. Willie Burrage and Mrs. Amanda Davis Burrage. His parents, along with one brother, W.C. Spinks, preceded him in death. He died on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, from his earthly home in Moss Point. Interment will be in Scranton Cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.
