Albert S. Johnston, 87, of Ocean Springs, MS died Nov. 13, 2008. He was born 
May 14, 1921 in Carthage, MS. After serving in the United States Army during 
Korea, Mr. Johnston attended University of MS Law School. He briefly practiced 
in Carthage until 1958 moving to Jackson County and establishing his Law 
practice here. Mr. Johnston was Youth Court Judge for Jackson County during 
1991-1995. He was the oldest living member of the Jackson County Bar 
Association. Mr. Johnston was a member of First Baptist Church in Pascagoula. 
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mable Ruth Johnston; parents, Albert 
Sidney Johnston, Jr. and Ellie Mae Logan Johnston. Funeral Service will be at 
First Baptist Church in Pascagoula, MS. Interment will be at Biloxi National 
Cemetery with Military Honors.
