She was born on Oct. 25, 1902 in Pascagoula, Miss. Mrs. Annie was one of the very first telephone switch board operators in Pascagoula. She moved to New Orleans, La. in 1949, and was a switchboard operator until retirement in 1973. She and her husband Eddie moved back to Jackson County in 1974. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Theresa Wyman and Robert E. Mathieu Sr.; three sisters, Nora Gresham, Mamie Raybon and Dorothy Lois Franklin; six brothers, Ellis Mathieu, Leroy Mathieu, Ed Mathieu, Gene Mathieu, Jamie Mathieu, and Little "Snooky" Mathieu; two nieces, Dorothy Ann Davis and Marian "Sally" Franklin Gonzales; two special nephews, Bobby Mathieu, Robert Lee Franklin; and her husband of 35 years Edwin Eddie Maldonado. Graveside Services will be from Greenwood Cemetery in Pascagoula. Arrangements by Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa, Miss.
