Alton Douglas McVeay, 63, a native and life long resident of Gautier, MS 
passed away Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010 at his residence. Alton was a 
graduate of Pascagoula High School in 1965. He was a former Public Accountant 
and Instructor at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He was a member of 
Bethel Baptist Church in Gautier. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter 
Lawrence McVeay and Katie Naomi Grimsley McVeay; sister, Dorothy (McVeay) 
Rouse; two brothers, Edgar Burnette McVeay and Gerald Dale McVeay. Visitation: 
Bethel Baptist Church in Gautier. Funeral Service with Rev. Brian Miller 
officiating. Burial: Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Gautier, MS.
