W. Randall, Sr., 73, of Moss Point died Wednesday, Jan. 13 in Singing River Hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 1919 in Nichburg, Ala. and had been a resident of Jackson County for the past 40 years. Mr. Randall was a member of The Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Pascagoula, where he served as a former member of the Gospel Chorus, assistant Sunday school teacher for class six and various other building fund committees. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Local 10024 and had been an employee of Ingalls Shipbuilding for the past 23 years until his retirement. Survivors include his beloved wife, Mrs. Florene Davis Randall of Moss Point; four sons, Eugene Randall of San Francisco, Calif., Isreal Randall of Cleveland, Ohio, Booker T. W. (Yvonne) Randall Jr. of Atlanta, Ga. and Charles Randall of Pascagoula; five daughters, Mrs. Rosie D. Scroggins of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Eula (Eddie) Morant, Mrs. Flora (Elijah) Dees, Mrs. Linda (Edward) Omobien and Mrs. Edith (Robert) Goldson, all of Akron, Ohio.; one brother, Rhan Randall of Troy, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Clemmie (Sidney) Jones of Pensacola, Fla.; a devoted niece, Mrs. GurthieBarnett; two devoted friends, A. D. McEwen and James R. Davison; 18 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. Randall will lie in state, today from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Turner's Gulf Funeral Service in Pascagoula. Visitation will be 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Greater Antioch Baptist Church. Funeral service will begin promptly at 7 p.m. at the church with Dr. John W. Davis, Sr. officiating. Interment will be Monday, Jan. 18, at 10 a.m. in Scranton Cemetery.
