Geoghegan, Bessie Perry "Bess" A retired jewelry manager for Howard Brothers, 
she died at 4:20 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional 
Medical Center. She was 87, a resident of Baker and a native of Vick. Visiting 
at Baker Funeral Home, Baker, on Tuesday, Aug. 15, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
Visiting resumes at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 
religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Wayne Talley. Entombment at 
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-
law, Mary and Horace Greer, Denham Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Archie 
D. and Ann Geoghegan, Roxie, Miss.; six grandchildren, Tammy Valentine, Thomas 
V. Greer, Christy Smith, Robin Prier, Rachel Passinger and Lonnie L. Geoghegan; 
three sisters, Grace Bullen, Lillie Lofton and Ernestine Lowe, all of Gilbert; 
a brother, Marvin Perry, Denham Springs; 12 great-grandchildren and a great-
great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie V. 
Geoghegan; son, Lonnie A. Geoghegan; granddaughter, Cathy Greer; and three 
brothers, Shelton, Julius and August Perry. Pallbearers will be Thomas V. 
Greer, Jerry D. Valentine Jr., Ron Prier, Tye Passinger, Lonnie L. Geoghegan, 
Bernard Perry, Paul Perry, Mart James Seal and Robby Smith. Honorary 
pallbearers are Dustin Emfinger, Winston and Braden Passinger, Jerard "Cop" 
Perry, Jerry Valentine Sr., Jeff Weeks, Charles Riddle and Michael Potts.
