Larry Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Baptist Church Cemetery in Church Hill under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home. Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Mrs. Franklin was born Jan. 27, 1910, in Church Hill, the daughter of Nace and Henrietta Kaiser. She retired in 1992 after more than 20 years of service as election commissioner, was a World War II airplane assembler in Los Angeles and was a cook at Liddell High School. She was a member of Household of Ruth, Homestead Society, Mercy Seat Baptist Church, president of the usher board and mother's board. Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Israel Franklin. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Franklin and Mary Denice Franklin, both of Church Hill; one son, David "Jimmie" Franklin of Church Hill; eight grandchildren, including four live-in grandchildren, Patricia Franklin, Christopher Franklin, Dezraelle Franklin and Kaiser Franklin, all of Church Hill, Lashonda Franklin, Veronica Franklin, David Franklin, Jr. and Tangela Franklin, all of Church Hill; one godson, Eli Ikard, II of Natchez; two great- grandchildren; one niece, Thelma Kaiser of Vicksburg; three nephews; one great niece; and a number of cousins, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Elmer Dixon, Bobbie Earl Ford, Samuel Ikard, Fredrick Pinder, Leroy Rankins, David Franklin Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Burnell Harris, Eli Ikard, II, Eddie West, Sherwood Ware, Willie Pinder, Prince White Jr., the Rev.
