James Lee

April 7, 1941 - May 31, 2004

FAYETTE - Services for James Lee, 63, of Baton Rouge, La., who died Monday, May 
31, 2004, in Fayette, will be at noon Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church in 
Fayette, with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral 
Home Bude.

Visitation is from 12 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. 
until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Lee was born April 7, 1941, in Jefferson County, the son of Bertha Doss and 
Robert Lee.

He was employed at Fayette Enterprise and was retired from Christine's 
Restaurant. He was baptized at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clara G. Lee; son, 
Tyrone B. Lee; sister, Odessa Doss; brother, Charles Doss.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Lee of Fayette; sons, James (Brenda) 
Lee Sr. of Lorman, Charles (Sonya) Lee, Arthur Lee and Maxion Lee of Baton 
Rouge, La., Lawrence Lee and James Harried; sisters, Mary Chambliss, Ruby 
(Clemon) Tenner of Fayette; brother, Willie Doss; aunts, Elouise Doss of Baton 
Rouge, Louies Doss of Fayette; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and 
friends.

Pallbearers will be Jerry L. Doss, Herbert Doss, Tony Doss, Percy Johnson, 
Terry Johnson, and Fred Hunter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Marshall Funeral Home, Bude.
