Dr. E. E. Colenburg officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home. Visitation is from 1 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Cook was born Oct. 30, 1933, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Wilson Clark Sr. and Lou Ella Gales Clark. She attended Alcorn State University and was a headstart teacher with AJFC for 39 years. She was a member of Hollywood Missionary Baptist church, the church choir and the Heroines of Jericho. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Lethel Cook; parents, Wilson Clark Sr. and Lou Ella Gales; sisters, Thelma Clark and Helen Clark Jones; one son-in-law, Rev. James E. Lee Sr. of Natchez. Survivors include one son, Lee Roger (Renee) Cook of Omaha, Neb.; three daughters, Alice Sherman of Omaha, Jacqueline Lee of Fayette and Linda (Williams) Gaines of Fayette; a grandson she reared as her own, Tracy Cook of Lorman; two adopted daughters, Shenicki (Timothy) Lee and Shenata Cook, all of Fayette; one step-daughter, Mary (Terry) Brown of Rayville, La.; one god daughter, Shrail (Tracy) Curry of Snellville, Ga.; very special son/daughter, Bobbie and Tina Alsworth of Fayette; two brothers, Wilson clark Jr. of Fayette and Arnold Clark Sr. of Fayette; two god sisters, Evelyn Reed and Mattiel Wicks of Fayette; two brothers-in-law, Leroy (Jean) Cook of Omaha and Sebron Jones Jr. of Port Gibson; four sisters-in-law, Cleon (Lucian) Brooker of Leland, Ruth Agee of Omaha, Doris Cook of Indianapolis, Ind. and Luebirtha Cook of Fayette; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be members of the Masonic Lodge 202. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Cook, Lee Roger Cook, Lethel Cook, Kawasbe Kelly, James Lee, Arnold Clark, Arnold Clark Jr., Timothy Lee, Shavikia Gaines, Michael Jones, Dwayne Jones, Seboron Jones III, Arthur Cook and Marlon Jones.
