Jefferson County Marriage Records, December 28, 1816
Certificate No.:     Marriage Book A:143

Mississippi Territory of the United States
     By the register of the Orphans Court of Jefferson County
     To any Judge, Minister or Justice, lawfufully (sic) authorized to 
celebrate the rights of Matrimony.

You are hereby Licensed to Celebrate the rights of Matrimony between
William Kenton and Miss Mary Grayham, And for so doing this shall be
your Warrant - - - Given under my hand this 24th day of Decr 1816.

This is to certify that the rights of matrimony was administered this 28th
December 1816.

Additional Comments:
William and Mary (Grayham) Kenton were in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana by 1840
and in Franklin Parish, Louisiana by 1850.  Both died in Franklin Parish, 
Louisiana before 1870.
