Death: Thursday, 9 November 1989 at Baptist Memorial Hospital North 
Mississippi.
Last Residence: Oxford, MS.
Burial:  Monday, 13 November in Oxford.
Survivors: Wife, one step-daughter, three sisters and one brother.
Facts: Retired in 1978 after 32 years with National Cotton Council in Memphis; 
executive vice president and treasurer.  Worked on the Muccaloon Farms in 
Oxford.  Lieutenant flight commander in Navy during World War II.  Member of 
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and Phi Delta Theta.  Graduate of University of 
Mississippi Law School.
