Jones Mrs. Beatrice Lee Jones,70,died in Meridian at 2:05a.m. wednesday as a result of a stroke. Mrs Jones was a lifetime resident of Meridian. At the time of her death, she made her home on the 5th street road in Meridian. Her membership was in the Wesley Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Spring Hill Methodist Church with Rev. Jessie Lee Rhaley, J.P. Coleman and .C. McLellan officiating. Interment will be made in pring Hill cemetery. The body will remain at Williams Funeral Home until funeral time. Suvivors are: Four daughters, Mesdames Beulah Reynolds, L.L. Raley and J. E. Krasnesky, Meridian, and Jesse McCary, Rt. 1, Meridian: son, Freeman Jones, Meridia: two sisters Mesdames J.A. Oxner and E.M. Suttle. Quitman Drive: 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a large number of other relatives. Active pallbearers: J.B. Oxner, Edwin Oxner, Gene Linton, W.P. Carmichael, J.L. Dearman, Garland Oxner, J.L. Jones, and G.J. Blackwell. Additional Comments: she was married to Henry Jones also buried in springhill cemetery. Child Beulah Jones Reynolds married Frank "Junior" Reynolds. L.L. Raley is the husband's intitials stands for Leonard "Levoid" Raley, his wifes name was Ada she is buried in springhill cemetery. It is possible the other initials are the husband's not the wife ex: Mrs LL Raley.
