Monticello Republican (Monticello, (Miss.)) 1820-18??: June 21, 1823 June 21, 1823
Elections - State of Mississippi, Lawrence County.
ON the first Monday and the day following in August next, an election will be held
in the following Election Districts in and for said county, viz: At the house of
William Herbert on Boguechitto; at the house of David Hutson, at the house of
William Sparks, at the house of John H. Oates and at the court house in Monticello,
for the purpose of electing a governor and lieutenant governor of the State, a
senator to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Doctor Thomas Anderson,
three representatives to represent the county of Lawrence in the next general
assembly of this state, a sheriff and Coroner, for said county.     R. COLLINS,
