R. L. DICKERSON ------- On Monday morning, March 28, 1922, the Great Reaper—Death—came into the home of R. L. Dickerson and took away his beloved wife, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Dickinson has the dreadful disease, tuberculosis. Her health had been declining for the past year and the last few months of her life she was confined to her bed. She suffered untold misery, but bore it without a murmur. When death came she went without a struggle. Mrs. Dickerson was a member of the Christian church from early girlhood. She was a devoted mother, a good friend and neighbor. She left a husband, seven children, a father, other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. We want to say to the bereaved, that although there is a vacancy in your home that can never be filled, your loss is heaven’s gain. You should be more determined to live a Christian life so you can meet her some sweet day. Put your trust in God and go to Him for comfort. The remains were laid to rest in Mullen’s cemetery at Nettleton. Bro. Collins of Shannon conducted the funeral services. The floral offerings were beautiful. A friend.
