Tupelo Journal, Feb. 24, 1882
  Mr. J. B. Glaze, a young man of this place, died, on Tuesday night, from the 
effects of an over dose of morphine, administered by his own hands.  Like many 
other generous, kind-hearted men, he was unable to resist the power of strong 
drink, and finally fell a victim to his besetting fault.  His remains were 
taken to Shannon, where his father resides, for burial.
