This is a group of schoolkids outdoors about 1925-30.
My Father (Robert) would have been 14 in August of the census year.
He looks about 12-14 here.
I am pretty sure the teacher is Myrtle Nicholson.
(daughter of Martha Brown Nicholson)

All three above are shown in the 1930 Leflore County Mississippi census

Division: part of Beat 2 West of Old Southern RR

I don't know if they had a formal school building or not.
Looks like rural cotton farms mainly.

I am not aware of any still living from the photo.
