OBITUARY: The Daily Leader, Brookhaven MS, 9 Jan 1984

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Dunn May, 88, of Brookhaven died Sunday in King's 
Daughters Hospital. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from Brookhaven 
Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Easthaven Cemetery.

Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband, John Sidney May and a son, 
Royce May.

She is survivied by four daughters, Mrs. Theda Stephens, Brookhaven, Mrs. 
Anita Maples, Bogalusa, La., Mrs. Freddie Miller, Meridian and Mrs. Patricia 
Harrell, Jackson; three sons, C.M. (Mack) May, William E. (Bill) May and 
Johnnie E. MAY, all of Brookhaven, 17 grandchildren and 30 great-
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Doughty, Natchez, and Mrs. Alma 
Singletary, Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers, Willie Dunn, New Orleans, and 
Cleven Dunn, Bunkie, La.
