The Brookhaven Ledger - Thursday Oct 14, 1875
Died at his residence in Lincoln County, Miss Sept 29, 1875, Josiah "Joseph" 
Price age 90 years, two months, 22 days. He was born in Richland District, SC
July 7th 1785, moved to Lawrence County, Miss, in 1818. He joined the Pleasant 
Hill Baptist Church in 1864. He was a zealous and faithful member of
the church. His last days werw his best days.In his death, the church
has lost a useful member and his wife and children an affectionate 
husband and father, and the community, a good citizen.
