Tombstone of David McRae Hobbs, son of James Augustus Hobbs and Sarah McGowen of
Brookhaven. He 
was born in 1897 and died in 1956. He was married to Lessie Mae Laird of Bude,
Mississippi and later 
Norfield, Mississippi. He was a  veteran of WWI, being a member of the US Navy
Reserve. He later was the 
owner of Hobbs Drug Store in Brookhaven.
