Lucille Wicks Harris was born on May 27, 1901 in Columbus,Mississippi to 
Zachariah (Zack) and Ella Victoria Wicks. Later in life she married Thomas 
Harris and to their union 12 children were born. She moved to East St Louis, 
Illinois in 1963. She departed this life on Saturday, October 30, 1971 at St. 
Mary's Hospital. Two sons and her husband preceeded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her passing: one daughter, Mrs Ollie L Smith, East St. 
Louis, IL, nine sons,Warren(Ray)Harris and Floyd Harris of Columbus,MS. Willie 
Harris of Chicago, IL, Walter Lee Harris of Cincinnati,OH, 
Fred,Lillton,Leon,Samuel and Thomas Harris of East St Louis, IL. 
Two sisters: Mrs Augusta Wicks Harrs Lyde of Artesia, MS and Mrs. Clara R. 
Wicks Rupert of Tupelo, MS. Seven brtohers: Joseph and Coleman Wicks of East St 
Louis, IL, Alonzo Wicks of Indianapolis, IN, Aaron,Zack Jr and Ellus Wicks of 
Artesia, MS and Odis Wicks of Starkville, MS. 52 grandchildrens and five great 
grandchildren
