Location:  From Canton go west on Hwy 22, turn north on Virillia Road, proceed 
on Virillia Road to Mt. Elam Road back track a few hundred feet to a chain link 
fence gate on the left, this is the entrance to the cemetery.  The cemetery is 
approximately 300 yards from this gate.

This cemetery is overgrown with vines but all in all in fairly good condition, 
it is not enclosed within any fencing however there is a fenced in area adjacent 
to the old cemetery that appears to be the beginning of a new cemetery but there 
are no graves in it at the present.  The Stokes family cemetery is adjacent to the 
Hanging Moss cemetery and is fenced in by an old wrought iron fence.
