Location:  The cemetery is about 5 miles east of Canton on a road that 
parallels Highway 16, in Madison Co., Miss	

Copied from inventories given to Canton Library, Madison Co., Miss. and are 
on file there.  This is a very old, but well kept cemetery, enclosed by a 
wrought iron fence.  Some markers seem to have been broken off long ago have 
been reset, though many of the dates are no longer visible.   There are four 
or five markers on which there is no inscription at all.
