This file was compiled and contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Pat Wellington *************************************************************************** Location: From Canton take Hwy 51 N for about 12 miles to Robnson's store, take a right (east) on the Camden Road then go to Old Highway 51, take a left (north), go about three miles and turn right (east) on Field Road, a gravel road. Go about 1/2 mile to a slight hill and on the left is a gate to the old cemetery. Copied from inventories given to Canton Library, Madison Co., Miss. and are on file there. This cemetery stands adjacent to the former location of the Soule Chapel Methodist Church organized in 1854 and torn down in 1978. Three acres of the land for the church and cemetery were donated by Mrs. Tirzah Fort Cooper. The cemetery is fenced-enclosed and well kept.
