Will of A. Barry Moore The State of Mississippi, Madison County. In the Name of God - Amen. I, A. Barry Moore of the State and County aforesaid, being sound in mind and desirous of disposing of my estate do make, ordain and publish the following as my last will and testament to wit. In the first place it is my will and desire that all my just debts be paid. Secondly & lastly I devise and bequeath my whole estate both real and personal to my sister Amanda M. Henderson. And I appiont L. F. Henderson & Nicholas Callihan executors of my estate. In testamony whereof I affix my hand and seal N. H. Lewis, Royal Royntis, A. Royntis /s/ A. B. Moore [The names of the witnesses are messy, so these are my best guess] In the Probate Court of Madison County in the state of Mississippi, January term. After due consideration of the petition of Lawson F. Henderson for probate of a certain instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of A. Barry Moore deceased and for letters of administration with said instrument after hearing the allegations and proof therewith. The Court being satisfied that said instrument is fully & legally established as the last will and testament of said A. Barry Moore. And that said testator was at the time of declaring and publishing the said last will and testament of sound and disposing mind, meaning and understanding of ___ to make the same and of right in law certified to make said last will and testament. It is therefore ordered adjudged and decreed by the said court that the said instrument of writing be and is hereby declared & established to be the last will and testament of the said A. Barry Moore and that the same be admitted in probate & recorded as the one and original last will of said testator. It is further ordered and decreed that letters of administration with said will be granted to the petitioner Lawson F. Henderson [?] on his taking the oath and entering into bond in the final sum of eight thousand dollars with Henry R. Goodloe & John Montgomery as his surities according to the statute in such case provided. Made and signed this 15th January 1857 /s/ J.
