Will of Ann Darden The State of Mississippi, Madison County} In the name of God Amen I Ann Darden being weak and __ of body though of a sound and disposing mind and memory and at the same time knowing that we mortal beings must die and return to him who gave them existance which imposition directs me to make this my last will and testament revoking all others heretofore made and having a desire to dispose of worldly effects which has pleased Almighty God to bless me __ or my labours an accumulating after a __ with my estate to be disposed of in the following manner, to wit Item 1st My body assign to the dirt from which it came and my soul to Almighty God who gave it. Item 2nd That all my debts and contracts be paid. Item 3rd I give and bequeath to my beloved daughters Martha A. and ___ two hundred dollars each of them should there be found sufficient to be paid to her after the __ are ___ Item 4th I give and bequeath to my beloved grand daughter Martha Ann __ two hundred dollars if there should be found in stock sufficient after all my debts are paid out all interest or paid out of the personal property until she becomes of lawful age. Her little brothers to recieve the same to wit Thomas, Robert, and David H. Roads. Item 5th I give and bequeath to my beloved grandson Machall Walton two hundred dollars in property when he becomes of lawful age, in case of his death before he arrives to that age the same to return to my beloved children to wit Stephen H. Darden, John W. Darden, Allen J. Darden, George P. Darden and Elizabeth M. J. Darden. Item 6th The balance of my estate to be equally divided between my beloved children to wit Stephen H. Darden, John W. Darden, Allen J. Darden, George P. Darden and Elizabeth M. J. Darden. Item 7th I wish the Probate Court of Madison County to appoint my beloved brother Patrick Sharky of Hinds County, Miss. executor of this my last will and testament and guardian of my children.
