Will of Allen C. Gillespie, Madison Co., MS, Will Book A The last will and testament of Allen C Gillespie of Madison County Mississippi. Knowing that death is certain and believing that it is the duty of any individual to dispose of his property while his mind and body is sound I therefore discharge this obligation. I will and bequeath unto my beloved brothers William E. Gillespie and Thomas S. Gillespie equally the whole of my property both real and personal of every kind and description whatsoever. And I doth constitute and appoint my said two brothers executors of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal at Canton in the state of Mississippi on the 25th September in the year 1846. /s/ A. C.
