B. W. M. Minters’ Will, Madison Co., MS, Will Book A In the name of God, Amen Know all men by these presents that I B. W. M. Minter being of sound mind, knowing the uncertainty of human life, make this my last will and testament. Item. I give myself to God who make me for time and eternity. 1st. I wish my debts paid when lawfully presented. 3rd. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Nancy M. Minter all my real and personal estate of whatsoever kind or character, subjected to the following conditions, viz. I give the one half of all my real and personal estate of whatever kind or character to my wife Nancy in perpetuity and the other half during her natural lifetime. 5th . That after the decease of my wife Nancy M. Minter, I will one fourth of my half of real estate to the General Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church to dispose of as they please. That one fourth of my half of said estate shall be equally divided between the children of my brothers and sisters who may be living. That one fourth of my said half shall be given to Sharon College __ will continue to carry out the principles of its charter. If it ___ not carry out the principles of its charter then this fourth shall be __ ___ of Article 5th. __ __ __this fourth of my said half shall be given to the Mississippi __ ___ of the Methodist Episcopal Church to be ___ ___ ___ of the ____ ………… above named Mississippi Conference. Minter annexed and Levi Pearce one of the subscribing witnesses being first by me sworn deposed and saith that he signed the annexed will of said deceased B.W.M. Minter in the presence of the said Minter and in the presence of all the other witnesses Geo. W. Stewart and H. W. Smith who likewise signed the same in the presence of the testator and further that the said B.W.M.
