Will of David Langford Book A, page 15 In the name of God, Amen} I David Langford being weak in body but of sound and disposing memory considering the uncertainty of human life do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following. Item 1st I bequeath my soul to God who gave it. 2nd It is my will that all my lawful debts be paid. 3rd I give and bequeath to my loving wife Bonetta Langford one negro boy named Peter and one mulatto boy named Tom, also all my land not being disposed of specially also all my household furniture together with all my stock of every kind to me belonging also all the utensils belonging to my farm. 4th I give and bequeath to my mother-in-law Mary Matthews one negro woman named Harriett and her child W___ also a tract of land __ the E 1/2 of E 1/2 of Section N 4 Township __ of Range __ ____ above disposed of to my wife Bonetta Langford & ___ specially ___ to Mary Matthews __ to my beloved brother William Langford at the death of my wife and Mary Matthews __.
