Will of Falbia Tidwell The State of Mississippi, Madison County} In the name of Almighty God, Amen I Falbia Tidwell being of sound and disposing mind but being weak and feeble in body and knowing that it is ordained that all men must die do first of all give my soul to God who gave it, and after death my body to be buried in a Christian like manner as it may [section unreadable] Firstly. It is my will and desire that all my children namely Celia Shrock, Sarah __, and Isaac King should have an equal portion of my estate according to the provisions of this my will have provided. Secondly. It is my will and desire that Celia my daughter and John Shrock my son-in- law should have my two negro slaves to wit Sharotte and __ Caroline upon their paying one third the value of the said negroes within three years from or after my death together with legal interest thereon up to the time of payment to Sarah M__ and also one third of the value of the two negroes aforesaid to be paid in the same manner to my son Isaac King. The valuation of the two negroes aforesaid to be made by three disinterested persons appointed for that purpose by the Probate Court of Madison County at its first session or some subsequent term after probating this my last will and testament. Thirdly. It is my will and desire that (in case my daughter Celia and john Shrock should not pay to my two other children Sarah M. ___ and Isaac King in the time and manner above prescribed and in case they should not themselves make other amicable arrangements the two negroes should be sold and the proceeds equally divided among my three children deducting from Celia and John Shrock's part legal interest on their value for the time they have had the use of the negroes aforesaid. It is my will and desire that John Shrock my son-in-law should be my executor to carry this my last will and testament into execution revoking all other will by me hereafter made.
