Will of James Daughtery In the name of God Amen. I James Daughtery of the County of Northumberland and State of Virginia being in perfect mind and memory calling to mind the certainty of death make and ordain this my last will and testament in form and manner as follows. In the first place I leave and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Daughtery all of my estate for the support of her and family during her natural life of widowhood and at her death or marriage I give and bequeath unto James B. Daughtery one negro boy Tom also I give unto Baladan B. Daughtery one negro boy Frank and I also give unto Jeremiah J. A. Daughtery one negro girl Sarah Ann. In the next place I give unto Rebecca Wildy one negro girl Viney and unto her mother Jane Wildy one negro James and it is my desire that the balance of my negroes at the death or marriage should be equally divided among all of my children, that is to say James B. Daughtery, Baladan B. Daughtery & Jane Wildy and I also give unto Aurilins Daughtery son of Samuel B. Daughtery eighty dollars when collected out of my estate which is now in the hands of William S___ of Rutherford County in the State of Tennessee and the balance of my estate to be equally divided among my three youngest children James B. Daughtery, Baladan B. Daughtery, and Jane Wildy as witness my hand and seal this the 29th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand and thirty. /s/ James Daughtery In the presence of W. M.
