Will of Mary Cameron, Madison Co., MS, Will Book A It being the desire of us all once __ __ that the __ should depart from this world, therefore I. Mary Cameron of the County of Madison and state of Mississippi being of sound mind and memory, but weak of body and sensible of the uncertainty of human life do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, to wit. 1st I do intrust my executors hereinafter named, nominated and appointed to settle my funeral expenses and pay all of my just debts as soon as convenient after my decease. I then wish the residue of my estate consisting of Negro slaves, horses, etc. with some money that is due me to be collected, if not collected before my decease, by my executors as soon thereafter as convenient. And then all of my available effects to be divided share and share in the most equitable manner among all my children or their issue, viz. My son Dougald A, Cameron, the children of my daughter late Catherine Montgomery, John C. Cameron, __ Cameron the child of my son late Phillip H. Cameron, and the children of my daughter late Sarah Ann Montgomery, said issue only __ of their mother or fathers share as the case may be, and to be paid over to said issue in the following manner, the share to the children of my daughter late Catherine Montgomery to be paid over to N. P. Montgomery (the husband of said Catherine), and to be apportioned in such manner as he may think serviceable and proper for his children by said Catherine, the share to the children of my daughter late Sarah Ann Montgomery to be paid to Andrew J. Montgomery the husband of said Sarah Ann and to be apportioned in such manner as he may think beneficial and proper for his children by said Sarah Ann, the share to the children of my son late Phillip H. Cameron now residing with their mother Lucille Guice, in the state of Louisiana I wish to be paid once to my son Dougald A. Cameron of Warren County and state aforesaid to be held by him in trust for the use and benefit of said child (believed to be named Catherine Amy)and to be paid over to her with all profits and accumulation amassing therefrom upon her marriage or when she comes at the age of twenty one years, but in case said child should die without issue I then instruct said trustee to distribute said share among my natural heirs at law share and share as above distributed. I do hereby appoint, constitute and ordain John C. Cameron sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills and testaments by me in any wise before willed or bequeathed, ratifying and __ this and no other to be my last will and testament and further I do not require any security of my executor.
