Will of Samuel Wilson Book A, page 16 __ 27th July, 1833 as my health is bad and life is very uncertain I feel it my duty to say something about the way I would wish my effects be managed hereafter in case I should die. In the first place I would have all my just debts paid. I also wish my negro man Joe be sold and my negro woman Dianna and all my household furniture I wish to be kept together for the benefit of my family and as they are at their time a ___. I would like for my executor to procure for them and as my estate when my business is settled will be principally in money. I wish it to be kept together and as my children become of age to be equally divided among them first paying the expenses of education. I also appoint my brother Wm. Wilson to be my executor. After __ in the foregoing, I wish my executor by the consent of my wife to have the power of removing my effects anywhere where they think proper and also if they should think best. When a house for my family is procured, to purchase ___ suitable __ for the maintenance of my family. It is also my intention that my wife whenever she wishes to have the equal part with my children.
