Last Will and Testament of William Worrell In the name of God Amen: I William Worrell of the county of Madison and the State of Mississippi, being sound in body and mind, but realizing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, do make and ordain this my last will and testament hereby revoking and annulling any and all former wills by me at anytime heretofore made. First I desire that my just debts be paid, should any remain due and unpaid at the time of my decease. Second After payment of my just debts and funeral expenses, it is my will and desire that my Executor hereinafter receive retain in his hands the sum of One Thousand Dollars. The interest of which annually is to be paid to my sister Mary Ann Snowden now living in Madison County State of Tennessee. The said interest to be paid to said sister annually during her life and after her death the said sum of One Thousand dollars is to go to my niece Clementine Kenoyer and her heirs. Third I give and bequeath to my said niece Clementine Kennoyer my lot in the town of Canton up on which my dwelling house and shop are situated. To have and to hold, for her and her heirs forever. And I further give to my said niece all my notes, accounts, and whatever other property I may posssess in the State of Mississippi at the time of my decease except the thousand dollars above referenced to for the benefit of my sister during her life provided for in item second of this my last will and testament. Fourth I give and bequeath to the two children of my mother, Mills Worrell, deceased, my plantation in the county of Southampton, State of Virginia to be equally divided between them. To have an to hold the same to them and their heirs forever. And I also give to them any other property which I may have in the State of Virginia at the time of my decease. Fifth It is my will and desire that Alonzo D. Bartow act as my Executor to carry out the provisions of my last will and testament and I hereby constitute and appoint his for that purpose. In testimony whereof I have herewith set my hand and affixed my seal this 17th day of May AD 1854.
