William W. Williams Will Will Book A, page 1 State of Mississippi, Madison County} Know all men by these presents that I William W. Williams of the State and County aforesaid do find myself very weak both in body and mind and calling to mind it is appointed for all men once to die, do make this my last will and testament. First of all I recommend my body to the grave and there in a decent and christian like manner at the discretion of my family and relations. Secondly I recommend my soul to the hands of the almighty God who gave it hoping through the merits of the blessed Redeemer to receive his gracious pardon and as to such ___ as it has been ___ God to bless me with in this life I ___ of the following manner. Forth my will is that all my just debts be paid and all debts due me be collected and applied to the payment of my debts by my executors and should my outstanding debts not be sufficient to discharge my debts my will is that my father Presley Williams and Chaffin Smith do sell as much or such my ___ as will do or may be thought expedient by my executors for the welfare of my wife and children. Also my will is that dear and beloving wife do enjoy all my ____ _____ _____ to either with as much of my _____ ____ as could the sufficient for the maintenance of my wife and children. Madison, Yazoo, and Hinds without the ____ may think expedient to move them to some other county at some further period.
