Emily Julianne Polk King Lowe was born August 3,1872,to Joseph Travis Polk and 
Martha Ann Cross in Prentiss, Ms.

She died November 11,1957 in Jackson, Ms.

She married Thomas Crayton King, June,17,1894, and had 5 children. She later 
married Marcus Lowe and had 3 children.

Thomas Crayton King carved grave markers from fat yellow pine for this 
cemetary.

Emily has a young son buried in this cemetary , and the marker has been lost 
with time.He was Ben King,born around 1902, and died around 1914 from spinal 
menigitis.
