Ex-Soldier Gets Life Term for Mississippi Murder

Ashland, Miss., Nov. 14.-George Bryant, on trial here charged with the murder of 
Tom Wilson about two months ago near Potts Camp, entered a plea of guilty, and 
received a life sentence in the state penitentiary. Landale, who was held as an 
accomplice was not indicted by the grand jury.

Bryant and Wilson were working on the Bankhead highway near Potts Camp. Bryant, 
a former service man and Wilson became involved in a quarrel, Wilson was shot.

Bryant is married. Wilson was also married, and is survived by his widow and 
four small children.
