Landale, who was held as an accomplice was not indicted by the grand jury. Bryant and Wilson were working on the Bankhead highway near Potts Camp. Bryant, a former service man and Wilson became involved in a quarrel, Wilson was shot. Bryant is married. Wilson was also married, and is survived by his widow and four small children.
