We learn by the Holly Springs (Miss.) Conservative, that Solomon B. Isaacs, 
Esq. State's Attorney for the District, was murdered in the streets of that 
city by Thomas Westbrook, who inflicted two wounds upon him with a Bowie 
knife, of which he instantly died. The assassin was arrested and committed for 
trial.
