      Broke The Record
   Mrs. C. K. Smith, wife of a farmhand living on
Col. W. H. Jones place, two and a half miles north
of Holly Springs, has given birth to a sextet of boys,
all alive and kicking. The proud mother has named the
youngsters Lee, Jackson, Van Buren, Sherman and Buell,
a mingling of the blue and gray, as it were, in one
sublime yell for freedom. The aggregate weight of the
regiment was 45 pounds.
