The road leading to the cemetery begins at N33°55'33.4" W088°15'04.2" elev. 336ft. The Northwest corner of the cemetery is at N33° 55'37.8" W088°15'03.4" elev. 366ft. All monuments are facing North. Also present on the Eastern edge of the cemetery is a house-like structure made of sandstone. Family lore is that a family traveling through camped on Irvin property and their young daughter died. The father traded livestock to Rigdon for the right to bury the daughter in the Irvin family cemetery, supposedly this small house is her marker.
