This Indenture made and entered into this 27th day of February 1858, between John Grizzle of the first part, John B. Sims Trustee of the second part and John T. Dycke and A.J. Gillespie under the name and style of Dycke and Gillespie, and David Clarke and A. J. Gillespie under the name and style of Clarke and Gillespie, and G.C. Sumney, M.L. Strong, and R.G. Kingunder the name and style of Sumney, Strong and King of the third part, all of the County of Monroe and State of Mississippi. Witnesseth: That whereas the said party of the first part is justly indebted to the said parties of the said third part in the sum of $568.23, to the payment whereof the said party of the first part hath executed his Deed of Trust half of Southeast quarter of Section 31 T.13 R 7 East.
