Services were held Friday, April 1, for Thelma Walden Gideon, 91, who died Thursday, March 31, 1994, at the Phillips Personal Care home in Fulton. She was born and reared in the Becker community of Monroe County. She lived in Houston and Columbus for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Houston Baptist church. She was the widow of Monroe Gideon, who died in 1984. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Coyt Sanders of Becker, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at the Greenbriar Cemetery in Becker.
