Many friends and relatives, throughout the county and state will regret to hear of the death of Mrs. Emma Laura Morgan, 88, who died Sunday night, July 13th at 10 o'clock, at the home of her son, Mr. Hal Morgan, of Wren. She had been in declining health for some years. Mrs. Morgan was a member of one of the pioneer families of our section, the Greens, and was related by blood and marriage to some of our finest and most useful citizens, both in Aberdeen and in the country.funeral services were conducted at Tranquil church, at 4 o'clock, p.m., Monday, July 14, and Rev. Ernest Miller, of Aberdeen, officiating. Interment was at the cemetery near New Hope (Coontail) church, her girlhood home, where many loved ones are sleeping the long sleep. Mrs. Morgan is survived by the following children: Messrs. Joe T.,Alex and Hal Morgan, three daughters, Mrs. Bill Wamble, Mrs. Justice cinity, and Mrs. Albert Wamble of Sullivan, all of Aberdeen and vi-Greenwood: also a brother Roy Green, of Amory and a sister, Mrs. Gus Werhman.
