The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ************************************************************************ Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Meek Morrow were held Saturday afternoon at Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. D. H. Matherly officiating. Burial was in Thompson memorail Cemetery. Mrs. Morrow died Friday at the home of her brother, W. E. Meek in Aberdeen, following an illness of two months. She was 85 and a life-long resident of Monroe county. She was a Methodist and the widow of Drue N. Morrow, who died in 1949. survivors are; a sister, Mrs. Georgia M. Cadden of Amory; and five brothers, W. E. Meek and J. W. Meek both of Aberdeen, C. H. Meek of Pontotoc, Miss., E. E. Meek of Alligator, Miss, and P. B. Meek of Memphis.
