Mrs. W. N. Reed whose husband had been a prominent physician here for more than 40 years died Saturday after suffering a heart attack. Born and reared at Fulton in Itawamba County, Mrs. Reed was the former Miss Luna Harriet Walker. Her parents were the late Dr. and Mrs. James M. Walker. She was married in 1909 to Dr. W. N. Reed who practiced medicine and was health officer in Itawamba County for a short time before moving to Amory in 1914. In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, Woodie N. Reed, Jr., a daughter, Miss Mary Lewis Reed of Amory; and a sister, Mrs. J. L. Sheffield of Fulton.
