Joseph Siah Walden, 92, died at the home of his son in Aberdeen. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County and a member of the Athens Baptist Church. He was a retired grocery store operator. Burial was in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery. His wife was Mrs. Mamie Miller Walden, who died in 1971. He leaves three sons, Alvis of Aberdeen, Clayton of Amory and Lamar Walden of Tupelo, one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Mabry of Tupelo; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
