VIRGINIA HOWELL, DECEASED LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MRS. VIRGINIA HOWELL I, Mrs. Virginia Howell, of Monroe County, State of Mississippi, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, hereby declare this to be my last will and testament. ITEM I. I direct that all my just and honest debts be paid including the expenses of my last sickness and burial and any other just and honest debts that I may owe at the time of my death, both secured and unsecured. ITEM II. After all my debts are paid, I give, devise and bequeath all my real and personal property to my beloved children as follows: To Dewey Howell, Lonie Howell, John Howell, Ruble Howell and Vera May Howell. This gift is made with the condition that any of my debts mentioned in Item I above are to be considered a charge upon the property that I own at the time of my death. ITEM III. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my beloved son, Dee Fowlkes, the executor of this my last will and testament. Flinn and Annabel Flinn, credible and competent subscribing witnesses to a certain instrument of writing, purporting to be the last will and testament of Mrs. Virginia Howell, deceased, late of Monroe County, who, having been first duly sworn, deposed and said that the said Mrs. Virginia Howell signed, published and declared said instrument as her last will and testament on the 9th day of December, 1921, the day of the date of said instrument, in the presence of the deponents, and that the said testatrix was then of sound and disposing mind and memory, and more than 21 years of age, and these deponents subscribed and attested said instrument as witnesses to the signature and publication thereof, at the special instance and in the presence of the said testatrix, and in the presence of each other, on the day and year of the date thereof. Fowlkes. They had 5 children. She then married John Howell who had 5 children from a previous marriage.
