			Milligan Springs Baptist Church and Cemetery


	Milligan Springs Baptist Church Cemetery  is located about 3 miles 
	northwest of Stewart, Mississippi in Montgomery County.  Go north 
	on Milligan Springs Road (gravel road in 1994) which is 
	Hwy. 82.  When the road forks, bear right. The road leads to both 
	the church and cemetery.  Milligan Springs Road should be listed 
	on a local Montgomery County, Mississippi, map, which one should 
	be able to obtain in the county seat of Winona.

	The following is only a partial listing of the Eiland family 
	graves 	in this cemetery.  There are several old graves which 	
	have deteriorated to rock-like structures and are no longer 
	readable.  The cemetery and church still appear to be active 
	although it is not listed in the local phone book.  There are 
	many other new Eiland family graves there which were not 
	transcribed.  The oldest graves found in the cemetery were 	
	**Elisha and Eliszabeth Eiland and Elisha's parents, **Bryant 
	and Liddy (Whatley) Eiland who were charter members of the church.  
	Their graves are included on this list.
